Bioinformatics is an intersection of computer science, math, and biology. In our digital omics integration lab, we have a mission to analyze, organize, and display large amounts of biological-related data sets on our own websites and databases. We have regular demands to develop long-term web platforms for plant science, human health, and ecology. A web designer will oversee the user interfaces in our platform. A database developer will handle more work in the backend data arrangement. A data analyst will perform data statistics and machine learning-based modeling. These different pieces of work will ensure our open-data web platform is useful and valuable to a diverse scientific community.
