To participate in UNL Career Services fairs and events, please ensure your Handshake notification are enabled so you are notified, and any past-due invoices have been paid.

Registration

$525 – Corporate Booth Registration (fee includes booth space, parking, and lunch for up to 3 representatives)

$225 – Non-profit/Government Booth Registration (fee includes booth space, parking, and lunch for up to 3 representatives)

$50 – Electricity to booth space (limited number available)

Each fair day has a SEPARATE price, but you may register for up to all 3 days.

Employer registration opens in Handshake on Monday, December 5, 2022.

Employer registrations close on Friday, February 24, 2023 or when registration reaches capacity. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Booth placement is influenced by date of payment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to Chance Radtke, chance.radtke@unl.edu. A $50 administration fee will be deducted from ALL processed refunds. A full refund, less the $50 admin fee, will be issued for requests submitted on or before Sunday, February 12, 2023. Requests received Monday, February 13 – Friday, February 17, 2023 by 5pm will result in a 50% refund, less the $50 administration fee. No refunds will be issued for any requests received beyond Friday, February 17th at 5pm. No exceptions will be made for requests submitted outside of the above terms.

COVID-19 Precautions

We are following UNL health directive guidelines to encourage a safe event for all fair attendees. In order to keep this event as safe as possible, we ask that any attendees that are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or have tested positive within the suggested isolation guidelines, please not attend the fair.

Pre-Fair Shipping

If you are choosing to ship packages to UNL ahead of the fair, please schedule them to arrive no earlier than Monday, February 13, 2023.

    The pre-fair shipping address is:

    If you shipped packages to our office ahead of the fair, your packages should be waiting at your booth when you arrive. If you have any issues locating your previously shipped packages, talk to a staff member located at the Career Services Info booth near the Check-In Station.

    Post-Fair Shipping

    If you are needing to ship packages after the fair, packages can be dropped off at convenient nearby downtown shipping locations. If you are unable to drop off your packages and need to schedule a package pick-up, you must adhere completed shipping labels to all packages to be shipped and call your provider to request a pick-up. Career Services will not ship packages on your behalf.

    Day 1-3/City Campus: Once you have called to schedule a package pick-up you can place the package at the designated area inside of the Career Services office (room 225).     UNLOADING & PARKING

    Starting at 10:15 am, cars will be able to drop off their supplies/displays with our team in front of the City Campus Nebraska Union (1400 R St.). Once items are dropped off, you will be directed to park in any of the City of Lincoln Park & Go parking garages. Validation tickets will be provided upstairs during the fair.

    Once you have parked, you will head back to the front of the Nebraska Union and head to the back side of the building, looking for the large circular staircase. Head up those stairs, and our team will be excited to welcome you and get you checked in. While you are parking and checking-in, our team will bring your booth materials to your assigned booth.

    *We work diligently to bring all materials up and appreciate your patience should your booth materials not be there when you arrive. We promise they will be brought up soon but should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of our team.

    BOOTH LOCATIONS

    CAREER FAIR WI-FI

    Career Fair participants can access free Wi-Fi by selecting NU Guest and logging in with the following credentials:

    LUNCH

    Employers will receive lunch tickets at check-in to eat at one of our Union vendors (Subway, Imperial Palace, Valentino’s, Chick-fil-A, and Steak-n-Shake). If you choose not to eat in the Union, downtown restaurants are within walking distance. Lunch tickets are not valid at off-campus restaurants or Starbucks in the Union.

    Space to eat as well as catered snacks and water will be provided in our Regency Suite on the 2nd floor of the Union. There are also water fountains and stand-up water fill stations located around the Union for your use.

    END OF DAY DETAILS

    If you would like to utilize the pick-up service after the fair, be sure to package up your supplies and fill out the pick-up sheet that was on your table upon arrival. Fair volunteers will then help move your items to the pick-up zone directly after the fair. This service will not start until after the fair concludes at 4pm. If you want to leave earlier, it will be your responsibility to take down your display.

    If you had packages shipped to our office ahead of the fair, your packages should be waiting at your booth when you arrive. If you have any issues locating your previously shipped packages, talk to a staff member located at the Career Services Info booth near the Check-In Station. Please note that packages can be dropped off in our office post-fair, however, you are responsible for coordinating your pick-up and shipment from our office. Career Services will not ship packages on your behalf.

    ATTENDING ANOTHER FAIR DAY?

    Once the booth maps are available, you will be able to see where your employer booth will be located. If you are placed in the same spot for the next day, feel free to leave your booth set up for the following day (please take all electronics and valuables with you).

    If you are moving to a new booth OR you will not be attending consecutive days, please pack up your materials and either take them with you or indicate on the slip of paper provided that you would like us to hold on to them and have them placed at your booth for the next day of the fair you or your organization will be attending.

    If you are unsure about what you should do, feel free to talk with a staff member at the Career Services Info Booth located next to the check-in station.
