The Role
The Sun Life U.S. Software Development team is looking for a proactive, positive, and dynamic team player to join our Functional and Performance Test Automation team as a co-op supporting our development and testing efforts. As a member of the team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of software development and testing.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Functional Test Automation scripting and execution
Performance Test scripting and execution
Documentation of test results
Work with team to create tests for new applications/features
Other duties as assigned
Core skill sets needed for this role:
Strong C# and/or Java skills
Strong analytical abilities
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Interest in learning Software Quality Assurance processes
Ability to work in fast paced environment
The Candidate
To be eligible for a co-op at Sun Life, you must meet the following requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university during the time of co-op (July 2024 – December 2024)
Must be an undergraduate or graduate student in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Eligible to legally work in the United States
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during co-op session
Compensation for this role with be $20 an hour.
