The Maintenance Intern is responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Sandhills Global Inc. facilities. Duties include performing minor repairs to furniture and equipment, moving furniture and equipment, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed, and monitoring mechanical, electrical, and ventilation systems. The types of equipment to be maintained include a geothermal heat pump system, chiller with water cooling tower, roof top air handling units, exhaust fans, and boilers. Seasonal duties include snow removal and grounds keeping responsibilities. This includes lawn mower, tractor, snow blower and power tool operation. The Maintenance Intern will also work with outside contractors for inspections and large projects. Responding in a prompt, professional manner to employee needs and concerns is an important aspect of this position. Assume other duties as assigned.
