The Electrician is a mission critical position that will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and control systems within the Sandhills Global, Inc. facilities. They will use their knowledge of electrical systems to help these facilities run safely, efficiently and minimize equipment downtime. Electricians will perform scheduled, preventative and predictive maintenance to identify potential problems and fix appropriately. The Electrician will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues and management as well as outside vendors to install or maintain electrical or power systems. The Electrician will need to follow all national, state and local building regulation codes. Prior electrical experience that includes troubleshooting and repair is preferred. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and work with Siemens brand drives, PLCs and other industrial and facility controls. A High level of professionalism, strong computer and communication skills are a must. Assume other duties as assigned.
