Position Description:
Under close supervision, this student assists the Human Resources Department providing support with administrative tasks. The intern’s responsibilities will include updating employee records, filing HR documents, and assisting in the onboarding process. This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Performs miscellaneous duties to facilitate the operational efficiency (e.g., maintains accurate records, organizes material & compiles information to assist in report preparation). Assists with answering incoming calls to assist callers and using the computer & related software (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).
This is a temporary position involving various duties that will either supplement the student’s major field of study and/or provide experience that is useful addition to the student’s education and meaningful preparation for future professional employment.

Qualifications
Applicant MUST be enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
Must show proof of valid Driver’s License in order to operate state vehicles.

This position is overtime eligible based upon FLSA Standards.
Pay is based upon student’s academic status:
Freshman & Sophomore – Rate of pay – $15.46/hr
Junior & Senior – Rate of pay – $15.96/hr
Graduate Students – Rate of pay – $19.41/hr
