We guarantee timely payment of scheduled principal and interest when due on municipal, public infrastructure and structured financings. Primary Responsibilities
The Intern will assist with the following tasks:
- Conduct research on various environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics such as climate-related risk, human capital management, related regulatory developments, and disclosure frameworks
- Gather and present data on ESG trends, best practices, and peer group benchmarking
- Draft internal memoranda, assist with board presentations
- Assist with GhG emissions inventory and calculations
- Provide support to Corporate Philanthropy and Diversity and Inclusion Committees
- Attend webinars and summarize content
Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Excellent research skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Able to work independently, but also team-oriented
- Familiarity with and/or interest in ESG
- Rising college junior or senior
- Course work in sustainability, environmental studies, climate change, or pubic policy is preferred but not required
This position provides a weekly all-firm catered breakfast and lunch (Tuesday and Wednesday) as well as intern-specific meals and events.
Note: Housing stipend may be available for non-local interns.
