Coordinate membership campaigns, assist in administrative tasks, manage donor communications, and support event planning and execution for the organization’s key initiatives.
Note: This position is seasonal, with the possibility of extension.
Tasks will include:
- Assist the Assistant Director for Membership and Administration in planning, marketing, and implementing campaigns and programs (e.g., research, prospect development, design, data analysis).
- Analyze data
- Conduct research and prospect development
- Accurately follow established mail processes, including opening mail, coding gifts, scanning copies, and filing
- Process donations and generate donor acknowledgment letters
- Oversee store management, including stock levels, shipping orders, and office organization
- Assist in planning events for the organization, including the Annual Conference and the Fulbright Prize for International Understanding
- Assist with general emailing and phones

Required Skills/Interests:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Some experience with social media and website technology
- Interest in international exchange or education
- Self-starter who takes initiative to figure out how to get things done
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree related to Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, International Studies, Event Planning, or related fields
- Foreign language proficiency
- Graphic design ability
- Experience with event planning
- Familiarity with the Fulbright Program
- Interest in and/or knowledge of higher education
- Experience working or volunteering with non-profit organizations
- Experience with international travel or study abroad
