CARE is looking to add to our team and seeks a creative and dedicated intern to help us with our social media accounts, specifically Instagram and Facebook.
Working off a social media planning calendar, we are hoping to find someone who can help us build out and ahead posts, stories and various other content for our accounts. Examples of the content subject matter would be Dating Violence Awareness, Sexual Violence Awareness, Stalking Awareness and other topics that are focused on gender and power based violence. Our goal is for specific campaigns to be built ahead of time and scheduled for posting.
There will also be times where we will want to post bios of our team members as well as for our peer educators, advertise upcoming events and then after these events post photos, videos, etc.
The social media intern will help further our mission by “speaking” the the students via social media with the goal of more students finding out about CARE, the services we provide and the various events we host.
This position will report to the Director of CARE but may also interact with other CARE team members as well.
This is a hybrid position with flexible schedule for the course of 9 weeks (9/19/22 – 11/18/22). The Social Media Designer will work around 5-6 hours per week at a $15/hour rate.
