Faculty/Staff
Through contact with Career Services, faculty and staff members can request a student account, allowing them to demonstrate Handshake to students, search for relevant opportunities to share with students, and more. There is no faculty/staff specific role in Handshake. Please contact Mallory Wallace in Career Services to request access to Handshake in this capacity. Career Services will also provide Handshake demonstrations for university faculty and staff – see below more information.Faculty and staff can also set up an employer account to hire students for on-campus opportunities and work study. To do so, follow the instructions above under Employer to create an account.
Using Handshake as an Employer and as an Advisor
Faculty and staff may want to have dual roles in Handshake and we can do that too! First, set up an employer account as described above. Then, please contact Mallory Wallace for a student account to view Handshake as a student and link the two accounts.
