Lauren Eurich is a senior double majoring in Advertising & Public Relations and Graphic Design with minors in Art and Art History. She is making sure to prioritize her professional development and experiences in college by working two internships.
“I have two internships. My first internship is with NUtech Ventures, and my other internship is through the Sunday Farmer's Market at College View.” said Lauren.
It is clear that Lauren understands the importance of being actively involved in the job search process. She has taken it upon herself to find these opportunities that continuously provide her with useful skills.
“I came across my NUtech Ventures internship through the Career Services’ resource, Handshake. The second internship I came across was through networking in my sorority.” said Lauren.
Lauren’s internship experiences allow her to work simultaneously on doing the things she is passionate about, while getting hands-on experience that relates to her studies. In her NUtech Ventures internship, she develops marketing and social media content, while conducting outreach throughout UNL internal channels. She also creates graphics and various design documents for Sunday Farmer’s Market at College View, while continuously updating their website and social media accounts.
She strives to make the most of these opportunities through working on various creative projects and making strong connections, as this will get her a step further to fulfilling her future career aspirations of working at a creative agency in New York City.
Outside of her studies, she is involved in Jacht, Ad Club, Phi Mu, CoJMC Student Advisory Board, Public Relations Student Society of America and the Adobe Student Ambassador Program.
