The University of Nebraska, College of Architecture, Career Immersion Initiative is intended for students at the beginning of their academic studies who have an interest in working in the architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture design fields. This program will provide up-close and active experiential learning, which will include mentoring, early networking, community and skill-building opportunities, and exposure to design careers available in local offices.
The experience will be July 29 to August 2, 2024, from 9am to 4pm. Interns will be paid a stipend to participate. Applications have closed.

Process
- When micro-internship experiences are available, students will have the opportunity to apply through a quick application which does not require resumes or cover letters.
- Applications for the summer 2024 experience have closed.
- Around a week after the applications are due, the mentor/supervisor of the open positions will choose the intern(s) and the College of Architecture program leads will introduce mentor and intern(s) through email.
