International students can utilize the following resources to help navigate their career development journey.
- Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for International Students: Learn more about CPT eligibility, requirements, and application steps.
- Optional Practical Training (OPT) for F-1 Students: Learn more about OPT eligibility, requirements, and application steps.
- ESL Support Lab: The ESL Support Lab is a free service offered by Programs in English as a Second Language to all international students at the university who need language-related assistance. The lab has trained consultants ESL professional who will help students succeed in their courses, homework, writing assignments, and more.
- Going Global: Search for international internships/jobs, opportunities in major U.S. cities, employment strategies in specific countries, and past H1B employers.
- H-1B Employer Data Hub: Resource includes data from on employers who have submitted petitions to employ H-1B nonimmigrant workers. Data can be queried by fiscal year, employer name, city, state, zip code, and NAICS code.
