The Part-time Job Fair provides employers a chance to recruit students who are looking for opportunities on or near campus. This event will be open to students of all majors and degree levels; however, we ask that recuriting focuses on only those opportunites where students would be workng less than 20 hours per week (ideally no more than 15) and are offered by on-campus employers or employers who are within traveling distance of campus.
To ensure the best outcome for this event, we recommend the following:
- Post your jobs on Handshake.
- Connect with students via Handshake before the fair and let them know you are coming.
- Keep an open mind! You might see a more diverse set of majors and levels of experience. This is an opportunity for you to broaden your talent pool.
LIMITED spots available, and will be granted first-paid, first-served based on approved registration. Registration/booth placement WILL NOT be approved until payment has been remitted in full.
Fees & Registration
- Corporate Employers or Government/Non-Profit Employers: $25
- UN System Entities: Free
- Electricity: $50
- *Registration fee includes one table & two chairs for up to 2 representatives.
Day Of Details
This fair is open to students of all majors and degree levels to connect with a variety of employers casually, both in attire and environment. The event will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM. You may arrive to set up your table any time after 10:00 am.
Unloading & Parking
You will receive parking validation for any Park & Go garage you choose to park in. The closest one to campus is the Larson Building: City Campus Parking Map
Unlike other fairs, we will not be having display drop-offs due to the smaller size of the event. If you would like to bring your items upstairs first before parking your car, there are several meters in front of the union that are for use (subject to availability).
Once you have parked, you will enter the front of the Nebraska Union and head to the second floor, enterance is located in the west hallway of 2nd floor. Take the stairs or take the elevator to the left, and our team will be excited to welcome you and get you checked in.
Booth Locations
Booth locations: employers may seat themselves after checking in. If you have any questions contact Megan Becker.
End of Day Details: Shipping Your Booth Materials
If you need packages shipped they can be dropped off in our office post-fair, however, you are responsible for coordinating their pick-up and shipment from our office. Career Services will not ship packages on your behalf.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to Ronesha Love. A full refund will be granted up until 9:00 am of Thursday, August 22, 2025. Any request after 9:00 am of Thursday, August 22, 2025, will not be granted.
