University Career Services Technology and Supply Request

If you are interested in borrowing University Career Services’ check-in station technology, headshot station, tablecloths, pipe and drape, or other miscellaneous supplies, please fill out this form. Once requests are reviewed and assessed, a career services representative will reach out to you to confirm if supplies are available and next steps needed.

Name

Please provide a brief description of the event and how you plan on utilizing the Career Services technology and/or supplies.

Requesting the use of student event check-in technology?

4 laptops and 4 nametag printers are available to be borrowed. For career fairs and events, the Handshake Kiosk system is utilized for check-in. If available, a Career Services staff member will deliver the check-in technology and set up units. If a Career Services staff member is not available, the unit requesting supplies will need to be trained in setting up the technology ahead of the event.

Requesting the use of the self-service headshot station?

The headshot station consists of a portable backdrop, ring light with phone holder attachments, a stool for students to sit on for photos, and poster with QR code for headshot instructions. All materials can be transported in a provided wagon.

Requesting the use of black tablecloths?

100 black rectangular tablecloths are available for use (approximately 90×132 inches). These are used only for non-food related events. If you are needing black tablecloth for an event serving food, please coordinate with your catering company to rent tablecloths for your event. Tablecloths will be transported in provided bins and are expected to be neatly folded back into bins upon return. Borrowing unit is responsible for laundering any tablecloths that get dirty during the event (although we hope this is minimal, as these tablecloths are not allowed to be used at events with food).

Requesting the use of pipe and drape?

Approximately 200 feet of pipe and drape are available for an event setup. Set up design will determine the exact square foot and supply needs. Set up and tear down requires a team of people to help ensure the safety and timeliness of set up.

Requesting the use of any other supplies?

By checking this box, I agree that myself or a representative from my unit will participate in any necessary technology or supply training ahead of time. I also acknowledge that this training information will be conveyed to the appropriate parties in my unit to ensure that useage, setup, and tear down of supplies are done correctly.

By checking this box, I acknowledge that all equipment will be assessed before and after each borrow. If University Career Services finds that a piece of equipment has been damaged due to misuse or mishandling, they will invoice the college/unit the cost of repair, cleaning, or replacement of the item. I acknowledge that my unit becomes responsible for the technology and/or supplies in their care. By checking this box, I also affirm that my unit will provide a cost-object number or repayment plan to assist with the repayment of any needed repairs/purchases.
