The CASNR Career Center staff provides advice and information on agricultural sciences and natural resources careers to prepare you for lifelong career success!  Our dedicated professional staff can help you make career decisions by exploring majors and careers and identifying experiential learning opportunities to gain experience and connections that will lead to future jobs.  We also provide you with strategies for interviewing and negotiating job offers.  Our Peer Career Coaches host multiple Résumé Labs in various locations across East Campus each week where you can drop-in for assistance with résumé and cover letter development, and utilizing Handshake and LinkedIn.  We are happy to assist CASNR undergraduate and graduate students, as well as alumni.  We are ready to answer your questions and help you navigate your future!  Visit our  CASNR Career Development Website for more information.

Résumé Labs

Need assistance with your résumé, cover letter, finding an on-campus job, or Handshake? Start with our Résumé Labs! Bring your computer, ask questions, get feedback, make edits as you go, and walk out with improved documents.  No appointment is needed!

Times:

Résumé Labs are held when classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters.  Résumé Labs are not held when classes are not in session for holidays, fall break, spring break, etc.

  • Tuesdays - 4 PM – 5:30 PM – Biochemistry Resource Center – N201 Beadle
  • Wednesdays - Noon – 2 PM – Animal Science Building – The Hub
  • Thursdays - 1 PM – 3 PM Hardin - Hall South – Student Services Lounge
  • Thursdays - 3 PM – 5 PM - Keim Hall – Student Lounge, Second Floor
