–We are the official organization for club running at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and we are a member club of the National Intercollegiate Running Association (NIRCA). Competing and casual runners alike meet several times a week to run the trails of Lincoln together.
–We welcome all runners, from highly competitive to those who are brand new to the running world. We want to provide every runner at Nebraska the opportunity to grow from the physical and mental benefits running has to offer, as well as a fun and supportive community. We require just $5 dues each school year from every member to help pay for social and travel expenses throughout the year.
–For members interested, we compete in both local and NIRCA-hosted events in Cross Country, Road Racing, and Track & Field both in the fall and spring (these events are CANCELLED for the 2020-2021 school year due to coronavirus restrictions, but our community is still thriving with regular practices).
–Practices: Every Sunday, Monday, Thursday, at 4 pm and Friday at 7 am. Meet at City Campus Recreation. Masks must be worn to take attendance and for the first 0.4 mile until we are off campus; whether on or off campus, 6-feet distance must always be maintained. Be prepared to show your “Access Granted” status on the Safer app.
