Academic/ProfessionalPeer Mentorship

What should I know about the classes and professors I’m taking? How do I find an internship? How can I find exciting research opportunities? Should I do a minor? Should I pursue a master’s degree? How do I make sure I end up in the field that I want to work in? All of these questions are the reason the Mechanical Engineering Mentorship Program was started.

.

As a mentee, you will have access to a student just like you who has already been through all of these things. Mentors can be utilized for school-related advice, resume and career fair tips, word of mouth research opportunities, and company contacts that can be leveraged into internships and full time jobs post-graduation.

.

As a mentor, get the satisfaction of helping a student in the position you were in only recently. Build leadership and communication skills all while crafting a worthwhile experience to put on your resume.
