- Purpose
- GTBTT exists to 1) spread awareness about the importance of international trade and business transactions for all individuals and business in the United States; 2) to create an additional opportunity for UNL students to complete academic research and writing; and 3) to facilitate academic discussion on topics relating to international trade and business both on a policy and legal perspective.
- GTBTT intends to accomplish this goal by 1) regularly producing quality, academic content focusing on current global trade and business topics; 2) providing mentorship opportunities for new legal writers by enabling them to work with senior members; and 3) providing background information and a platform at GTBTT meetings to discuss relevant and current international trade and business transaction – related issues.
- Editorial Content
- Content will take many forms including blog posts, podcasts, white papers, research guides, surveys, videos, and newsletters regarding law updates.
- All submissions will focus on new and emerging U.S. – global trade and business regulatory regimes, and each submission is intended to invoke curiosity, research, and solicit respectful discussions regarding each article.
