Digital User Experience Intern

Internship Summary:

The User Experience Intern will have a strong interest in at least one of the core UX disciplines (Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design and Content Strategy). You will possess a strong desire and potential to grow beyond your core area of expertise and are accountable for your growth as an individual UX professional by working on a diverse array of projects within the team.

Internship Job Duties:
Work closely with digital products team to:
- Be an advocate within the team that helps to transform the organizational UX maturity level with proven methodologies and examples of good UX practices on a day to day basis
- Design, plan, conduct, synthesize, and communicate user research projects to inform design decisions using appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Help to define user experience goals and design principles within assigned projects and tasks
- Develop prototypes and conduct usability test and feedback sessions with users
Internship Qualifications:
Education:
- Undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
- Currently studying User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture or relevant field
Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:
- Comfortable conducting User Research to adapt and redefine user experiences
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
- Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, leadership and presentation skills
- Experience using tools such as Adobe XD, Optimal Workshop, Sketch, Figma, Mural, Invision or similar programs a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to utilize the Adobe suite for asset creation and management
Students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited institution with a current class standing of sophomore or above and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 are eligible for internships at Zoetis. Students must also be 18 years of age or older prior to their scheduled start date and be able to provide verification that they are enrolled in school and authorized to participate in an internship in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship. Students who are offered internships will need to successfully pass a drug screen and background check within 5 days of offer.
