Are you a current student who is interested in exploring a museum career? If you are an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in school, the Whitney is offering paid internships in both the spring semester and summer. We seek talented people of all backgrounds: the Whitney values diversity of cultures, races and ethnicities, gender expressions, and abilities.
Interns will be paid a stipend. While a demonstrated interest in art and art history is preferred, students in all majors are encouraged to apply, previous museum experience is not required. Work will be a mixture of project work, including research, in addition to some administrative duties.
For more information on the spring and summer programs, departments requesting interns, and the application process, please visit the Museum’s website: https://whitney.org/About/Internships
It is important you apply through the Museum’s website to be considered.
