Vishay Dale of Columbus, NE is seeking to hire a Full Time Purchasing Supervisor. The Purchasing Supervisor will Assists in the implementation of activities related to the procurement of materials, parts, components, and equipment. May oversee buyers and expediters to accomplish company objectives. Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount. May negotiate contracts up to a specific large dollar amount. Assists in developing policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance aspects of some subcontracts. Assists in coordination of purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels. Involved in selection, development, and evaluation of personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Primary Duties: Supervision of staff activities to ensure purchasing policies and procedures are followed.Monitor, evaluate, and interpret data to ensure material specification compliance.Investigate vendors and negotiate contracts.Ensure that inventory is maintained at sufficient levels for various departments.Compile and enter data for records management Experience:  2 years of supervisory experience in purchasing/procurement and negotiating with solid P.C. skills.Bachelor’s degree preferred or related experience in field. Bilingual a plus
