Vishay Dale in Columbus, NE is currently seeking a full time Marketing Administrative Assistant responsible for receiving and preparing customer requests for quote. Primary Responsibilities:Receives customer request for quote.Crosses PN#’s and gathers data including past quote history and competitor information.Assigns RFQ number.Contacts product management/engineering for costing and suggested pricing as necessary.Utilizes SAP (ZQUOTEHI) or other tools to upload data into “Switchboard” IntranetProcesses quote activity using existing systems (VQC, OWG2, etal) Assists Supervisor in the preparation of customer negotiation strategies and presentations.Conducts research on the internet on such things as competitors, prospective customers, data sheets for various products, etc. Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent plus additional specialized training. One year to two years experience required. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail, in order to accurately handle the daily workload. Excellent communication skills in order to deal effectively with employees at different levels in the company, Field Sales people and customer contacts. Ability to understand verbal instructions to adjust to changing Department priorities. Excellent organizational skills to accurately handle the various job duties. Must have excellent knowledge of the personal computer and excellent keyboarding skills. Must have an in-depth knowledge of the Company products.
