Morrill Hall is currently seeking applicants for a Visitor Services Assistant on City Campus. Primary duties include assisting museum visitors at the front desk and in the gift shop such as greeting, interacting, and taking payment. Other duties include general communication with museum visitors, maintaining museum cleanliness, enforcing museum policy & stocking and keeping an organized gift shop. Other general tasks may be assigned as needed.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform duties in a courteous and professional manner are a must. Applicants should be organized, reliable, and effective communicators. Federal Work-Study is preferred but not required.
$9.50/hour. The museum is open Wednesday – Saturday 9:30-4:30 and 12:30-4:30 on Sundays. Student employees are expected to work every other weekends, including home football games.
