Help us build a new 3D interface for designing RNA nanostructures! Also will need to refactor existing code base in C++. We are looking to hire a few motivated part-time Programmers to be part of our team. This free to use interface will allow users to manipulate and design new RNA 3D structures. You will learn about RNA, structural biology, and how to run a successful front end and back end scientific server. Qualified candidates will be students or recent grads at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an interest in a software development and/or testing career.
Responsibilities:
• Write and document code in C++
• Write software tests and address defects observed.
Requirements:
• Ability to write clear, readable, and maintainable code in C++.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming paradigm.
