Our lab is looking for undergraduate student help during the summer. We will need help in our field facility located in Mead, NE. Students will help maintain test plots and work with our lab members to collect data and leaf and stalk samples. There will be some processing of the samples in the lab.
Our projects are focussed on modifying the fatty acid profile of soybeans and sorghum. The lines in these field trials have been produced from transformation experiments done in our lab and selected for further study based on preliminary analysis in our greenhouse. Attention to detail important. Working conditions will be hot and dirty. We will arrange transportation to and from the field each day. We would like you to be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
