Transglobal Services, LLC has an immediate need for a entry level Business Development Representative. This role is responsible for new customer outreach and quickly developing relationships between prospective new clients and Transglobal Services. The Business Development Representative will bring in new business through identifying opportunities with potential clients, presenting our products and services effectively, and navigating through the initial contract process. This is an outside sales role that will be responsible for forecasting and reporting sales and business development activities in a CRM system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responds to sales inquiries
- Meets or exceeds sales targets and new client acquisition goals through initiating correspondence with the prospective clients in all the end markets Transglobal Services is interested in acquiring customers (Oil and Gas/Energy, Electric Utilities, Transportation, and Real Estate)
- Generates leads through networking activities
- Presents the products and services to potential new clients
- Meets with prospective new clients daily to identify existing pain points related to products and services offered, software solutions, and new project opportunities
- Maintains accurate and detailed reports of sales activity through CRM system
- Effectively markets the unique offerings to maximize business opportunities with potential new customers
- Proactively and effectively communicates with clients to identify and understand their services needs
- Maintains client satisfaction through ongoing and regular communication and relationship management; resolves/assists in resolving any issues that may arise
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
- Understands competitors by analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Expands relationships and brings in new clients on a weekly basis in high volume
- Attends applicable networking events and conferences to ensure continual visibility and access to potential clients and create meaningful sales follow-up opportunities
- Proficient in LinkedIn and other social media while understanding the importance of professionalism and maintaining company brand
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong business and sales background
- Prospecting and cold calling skills
- Positive attitude
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a good listener, presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to follow-through on client bids and contracts
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
- Existing contacts or network opportunities in the markets where Transglobal Services is focused
