The complete NatureNet Science Fellows Program Overview, Project List, Eligibility Requirements, and How to Apply can be found here: https://naturenetsciencefellows.org/

The Nature Conservancy is pleased to solicit proposals for the NatureNet Science Fellowship. Open to Masters, PhD and postdoctoral students, NatureNet is a trans-disciplinary program that bridges academic excellence and conservation practice to support a new generation of climate change leaders who combine the rigor of academic science with real-world application.

NatureNet Fellows support under-staffed TNC chapters, programs, and/or specialized projects adding new brands of science to the Conservancy’s work – science that blends ecology, biology, and natural resource management with climatology, physics, economics, business, chemistry, and engineering to insure we are conducting the best analyses for rapid testing and deployment of conservation solutions.

Fellows join the Conservancy in structured cohorts that participate in professional development and networking opportunities that are designed to create space for long-lasting relationships and collaborations. Fellows also receive dedicated guidance in creating professional development plans along with the connections, tools, and resources to help them explore specific career and personal goals they’d like to pursue during their fellowship term.

Recognizing that The Nature Conservancy’s conservation mission is best advanced by the contributions of individuals of diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures — NatureNet encourages applicants from all cultures, races, colors, religions, sexes, national or regional origins, ages, disability status, sexual orientations, gender identities, military or veteran status or other status protected by law. Additionally, special consideration will be given to applicants working with academic mentors from historically black and tribal colleges, Hispanic serving institutions, and international universities from Africa, Asia, and Latin and South America. Applicants from any accredited college or university are welcome to apply.
