Overview
The purpose of this position is to work with the Global Marketing Team to develop powerful and integrated Communications programs that are designed to proactively support our business objectives. The key areas of responsibilities are Public Relations, Global Content Management, New Product Launches and Digital Mail Campaigns.
Qualifications
• 5+ years’ work experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Agency or B-to-B communication role (agency experience a plus).
• Bachelor’s Degree required. (Communications, Marketing, Journalism preferred)
• Project management experience desired.
• Ability to multi-task and handle detail.
• Good communications skills and ability to problem solve.
• Global MarCom experience a plus.
Responsibilities
• Work with Americas marketing team to develop messaging and content for integrated marketing campaigns including email, social media, direct mail, PR and events; provide support for creative development where necessary.
• Lead PR for the Americas region including: Building and maintaining productive relationships with PR agencies in the United States and Brazil, managing the budget, establish objectives and priorities and develop and coordinate content for external publications.
• Coordinate the TouchPoint Inc annual report. This includes everything needed for successful report creation and printing. Some of the key tasks are: development of report theme; creation of content for Southco and other companies as needed; gathering and editing content (written and graphic), from various stakeholders (TouchPoint companies and others); overseeing the design with outside support, organizing the review, approval, and printing.
• Responsible for Global Marketing Content including the following areas. Develop, coordinate and publish content for online presence, including company blog, social media accounts and website. Implement best practices and processes to improve global content planning and performance. Reinforce brand compliance for content (public relations, literature, ad copy) generated by the global Marcom team. Communicate regularly with other members of the global marketing team to ensure consistency of approach and coordination of Marcom efforts. Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders and global marketing teams to create and provide feedback on relevant content that supports SBU objectives.
• Create content to support new product launches by developing launch copy and overseeing the global translation process and software.
• Proofread/approve promotional materials developed by global marketing teams prior to distribution, including eCampaigns, assets, brochures and literature.
• Track and coordinate metrics, analysis and evaluation of Marcom activities to determine effectiveness of engagement; recommend opportunities for improvements.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and freelancers to complete Marcom projects and corporate initiatives.
• Create content the supports and defines the Southco brand internally and externally. In addition to the responsibilities previously outlined, support brand initiatives such as brand ambassadors and internal brand campaigns.
