This job this job will provide a qualified candidate the opportunity to work with our talented sales staff to work into a full time – JUST sales role. We have a couple of very good, retirement age agronomists that we would like to have someone take the reins from in the future.
Agronomy Sales/Applicator
Job Description
Shop
· Supervise/review all maintenance requirements in agronomy
· Work with shop managers for proper care and maintenance of company vehicles and implements
Agronomy
· Responsible for sales calls & growth in this trade territory
· Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
· Make sure accounts receivable protocol is followed in this trade territory
· Make agronomist sales calls on a daily basis – new and existing customers
· Assist in inventory organization and counting as required by office and/or senior management
· Assist as needed by senior management
· Work to assure cleanliness and appearance of local facilities
Technology
· All technical applications of computer programs in application equipment
· Help train location personnel on technology usage
Location Management
· Will be responsible for managing this location’s facilities in operational seasons
· Responsible for the safety of staff operating facilities and equipment
· Responsible for accurate inventory and proper billing of all product leaving facilities including shrink and sales
· Responsible for keeping up satisfactory appearance of facilities interior and exterior
· Work with senior management to assure adequate staffing for facilities at all times
· Customer service is priority. Responsible to work the hours that are demanded of the industry and customers
· Excellent communication skills. Communicate well with customers, staff, peers & management
Class A Driver
· Ability to operate Class A vehicles as needed
Applicator Training/Other
· Train applicators on every aspect of competent and confident dry and liquid application
· Assist as needed in area on cooperative facilities in other departments
· Other duties as asked by management
