In Global Surfactants Materials we are developing and delivering the Process Innovation for application in our internal manufacturing units, and we own the specifications and the supply chain qualifications for internal and external suppliers. This job is to lead the process development of new surfactant processes that are critical to the business. It is a job that serves multiple platforms and requires working across platforms and functions. This role will include developing and delivering new surfactant processes to meet regulatory requirements, managing interfaces with key customers such as the using platforms, Engineering, and PS Manufacturing, and executing hands-on lab and pilot scale studies to develop and design new processes.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
* BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
* Strong technical skills to define and execute technical learning plans will be important for this role.
* Good chemistry and chemical process skills will be important for this role.
* Good collaboration skills to manage multiple interfaces will be needed to successfully deliver in this role.
* Some prior experience in surfactants and water treatment chemistry would be an asset in this role.
