This entry level new college graduate position is with the Automotive Processors (AP) Business Line. We are the #1 supplier of Automotive Processors globally. Our products are used by all major Tier 1 and OEM customers along with select Industrial customers.
As a Technical Product Marketing Engineer you are responsible for promoting our AP Business line to mass market customers, our Distribution partners, and expanding our market share in the Americas.
You will be working with a global marketing team with presence in Texas, Arizona, UK, China, Germany, and Mexico. The team is driven by a strong passion to win and truly cares about the public face of our company to our customers and distributors.
We are in a unique position of understanding both the technical challenges that our customers face, representing the value our products bring to customers, and also providing the full picture of the business growth potential in Distribution so we can continue to invest.
In Austin you will be working with a product marketing team with years of experience, helping mentor you in your growing career.
-Responsible for technical representation of the full Automotive Processors (AP) portfolio to distribution/mass market customers.
-Ownership of the business relationship for AP with select distributors in the Americas
-Regional marketing responsibility for a portion of the Americas with expected travel in local markets across the Americas.
-Creating collateral that communicates the value of our products that can be used by our Sales/Field Engineers in front of customers
-Close collaboration with Product Line Managers to ensure proper mass market launch of our products.
-Technical Requirements, market intelligence gathering for the assigned region and customers.
-Close collaboration across different disciplines to make the AP products ready for launch
-Product training to Distributor FAEs, Sales, and internal NXP Sales team
-Expect 30% of time traveling to customers/distributors across the Americas
-Bachelors or Masters in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or related discipline, Business Focus a plus
-History of leadership in extracurricular organizations while in University
-Fluency in English speaking/writing required
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
-Experience in advanced data analysis with large data sets finding trends in data a plus
-Proficiency in Spanish a plus
