Usource is currently looking for an energy analyst summer intern to support our team. In this position, you will support the team in sales and client management, including securing energy use data, modeling usage profiles, assisting in preparing RFPs and bid summaries, preparing recommendations to clients and prospects, and entering contract agreements. In addition, you will support our market analysis activities by gathering and analyzing pricing, supply, and economic information. You will also support our consultants and advisors in developing feasibility studies for energy demand reductions and distributed energy resources, such as solar.
The successful candidate will be pursuing a degree in an analytical field such as economics, business or STEM. Must be highly organized, detailed, flexible and able to utilize time efficiently and have a good working knowledge of personal computer applications and spreadsheet analysis.
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- High school grad / GED
- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
- Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
