Video Editing Intern for Spring 2021 (REMOTE POSITION)

Job Types: Part-time, Internship (14 hours a week, during the hours of M-F, 9-5 Eastern)

Work Location: Fully Remote

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Internship Dates: Jan-May 2021

This internship requires video editing skills and will expose you to non-profit programming and various digital marketing strategies. We are looking for a creative self-starter, with original ideas to use video to tell a powerful and compelling story; who is excited by a fast-paced work setting; and is passionate about different narratives and approaches.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Help develop an approach that portrays Marketing EDGE’s mission through video storytelling

• Assist in the editing and organization of various video projects to support this approach, including content on Marketing EDGE’s YouTube Channel

• Pinpoint footage and create short, impactful videos from existing video library to share across Marketing EDGE’s digital platforms, including our website and social media outlets including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

• Assist with social media initiatives including planning and creating attention-getting content

• Support social media program campaigns

• Duties to be assigned as needed

Requirements:

• Proficient in Adobe Premier Pro; strong background in graphics and design (a plus)

• 1-2 years of experience creating and editing video content

• Resume and work samples (video links) required

• Familiarity with trends in the digital video space and best practices for various platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)

• Knowledge of proper organization of video projects

• Comfort working remotely, both independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Organization time management and multi-tasking ability is a must

• Excellent communication & writing skills
