The program facilitator is someone who is passionate about organizational mission and empowering students. They will help facilitate engaging K-5th grade technology learning programs (coding & robotics, using LEGO Education products & curriculum), ensuring programs meet objectives, assist in developing curriculum according to age group and available resources, and researches best content and resource options. They will implement social-emotional learning & learn through play engagement principles. They work diligently to honor host site relationships to maximize engagement.
Lead enrichment learning labs and school day class programming at host sites/schools
Use innovation, engagement principles, and coordination skills to facilitate the coding, robotics, and other technology programs in a safe and fun environment
Primary resources utilized: LEGO Education products, Code.org, and Scratch Jr.
Build and develop partnerships with host site’s administrators and teachers
Cultivate meaningful, positive relationships with students through programs
Commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices and continuous learning through professional development and ongoing evaluation & reflective practices
Manage program impact measurements, attendance, rubrics, pictures, media, and as well as systems data tracking, upkeep procedures, and safety standards.
