Physical Therapy Tech Duties
Include but are not limited to:
- Keeping providers on schedule; please inform the appropriate provider if/when a patient has arrived, canceled, rescheduled or if a patient has been added.
- If instructed, bring the patient back to the gym or treatment room and start with a warm-up.
- Administer modalities as indicated by treating provider; try to anticipate modalities when able
- Tend to timers/bells
- Stay on top of cleaning
- Follow Cleaning Checklist
- When PT/OT supplies get low, let the purchasing manager know
- General Front desk duties- may include covering receptionist’s lunch, assist with answering “overflow” calls if receptionist is busy
