This position is responsible for Employee Services processes including recruitment and hiring, retention, coordination and administration of benefits, and internal marketing.
Core duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinates with management on staffing needs and updates/reports on status of open positions
- Works with VP of Employee Services to develop recruitment strategy, budget, and activities
- Develops and maintains company media programs, i.e.; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Updates and maintains various reports relating to staffing requests and new hires
- Coordination of internet and print recruitment advertising, maintaining Careerlink and other career sites for open positions
- Schedules and attends career/job fairs
- Tracks applications and candidates, maintains talent pool utilizing Paycom
- Responsible for candidate screening process: testing, pre-screening, initial interviews, performs reference checks and employment verifications
- Makes job offers and schedules new hire orientations
- Conducts new hire on-boarding, including completion of personnel forms for HRIS and payroll
- Maintains employee records in Paycom
- Coordinates and manages the company wellness program
- Prepares and communicates information to employees about benefits (medical, 401K, tuition assistance)
- Assists in assembly, editing, and distribution of company newsletter and other related internal marketing
- Assists in development of reward/recognition and retention programs
- Provides support to VP of Employee Services and CFO for payroll purposes
- Adheres to assigned budget for recruitment and department activities
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree, 1 year of recruiting experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Must have experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Experience with Publisher, Adobe, Sharepoint preferred
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Sensitivity to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work a variety of tasks in a timely and effective manner in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
