POSITIONS: Library/Media Specialist
LOCATION: Gannett Peak Elementary (K-3)
SALARY: $46,275 minimum (based on 2020-21 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 185-day contract
START DATE: August 2021

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a library/media specialist or be willing and able to obtain an exception endorsement and obtain the full endorsement within three years. Other desired qualifications include: Excellent oral and written communication skills; knowledgeable about curriculum materials for elementary students; strong background in technology and implementation of computer science standards; ability to support school goals through the library/media program; ability to work well with elementary students, staff members, and parents; ability and willingness to work with teachers to complement their instruction and curricular programs through library activities; and willingness to participate on school and district committees and in required inservice activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will provide weekly library/media services to elementary students.
