Commercial Deposit Specialist/New Accounts – Lincoln
Five Points Bank is seeking to add to our team in the Lincoln Market. The Commercial Deposit Specialist/New Accounts position with promote and implement Cash Management Products. Assist customers with opening accounts and/or any changes to their existing accounts. Will open and maintain safe deposit boxes. Provides professional, consultative sales of CM Solutions through strengthening existing relationships and acquisition of new customers. Must be comfortable with technology and implementation of CM products. Work with our officers and CM team to provide client support during and after implementation of cash management products; including ACH, wire origination, remote deposit capture, mobile deposit capture, sweeps, accounts analysis, and positive pay.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively market Cash Management services to new and existing customers, including:
- Follow up on leads from Loan Officers, New Accounts, and Tellers
- Contact prospective and existing customers to present available services
- Complete the set up and/or installation of new products and services
- Setup and train the customer with online banking and remote deposit product at their place of business
- Opening New Accounts and products
- Opening Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s and HSA’s
- Order Debit Cards, Checks, Endorsement Stamps, Foreign Currency
- Process account changes, close accounts investigate unauthorized transactions
- Process the renting, accessing and closing of safe deposit boxes
- Educate customers on available services such as; internet banking, bill pay, courtesy coverage, etc.
- Greet and refer customers to appropriate bank personnel to meet their financial needs
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to sell and cross-sell new products and services
- Banking experience with extensive training in the banking industry, rules and regulations
- Ability to work and solve client problems with minimal direct supervision
- Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook software
- Time Management and ability to multi-task projects and customers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Two to five years of sales and banking experience
- Experience with banking products
Status/Standard Schedule: Hourly position Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am – 6:15 pm, and Saturday rotation.
