The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is recruiting a consultant with interests and expertise in agricultural markets to provide part-time support for one year in duration.
The position’s primary responsibilities are to monitor developments related to agricultural markets and provide regular updates to Bank senior economists and management. The position will assess a wide range of economic data, conduct economic analysis on agricultural and rural topics, and communicate findings in written format through Bank publications in addition to internal briefings and presentations.
An advanced degree in economics or agricultural economics is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in agricultural markets and data analysis. Candidates should have an exceptional academic record, a strong analytical foundation, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage several projects at one time.
