Part-Time Teacher Assistant

Family Service Lincoln is hiring Teacher Assistants for the 2020-2021 LPS school year. We provide before and after school programs at LPS elementary and middle schools. You will be working with school-age children to build safe and positive learning experiences. ONLY AFTERNOON shifts available at this time.

What you can expect:

  • No evening or weekend hours
  • Tuition Reimbursement (conditions apply)
  • Paid Training
  • 50₵ raises to return the following LPS school year
  • 10-15 hours per week

Morning Shifts:

  • 7:00 am- 8:15 am
  • 7:00 am- 9:00 am

Afternoon Shifts:

  • 2:30 pm – 6 pm
  • 3:30 pm – 6 pm

Shift availability will be based on individual school site.

Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to complete Agency and childcare licensing training requirements
  • Received or pursuing high school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

  • Completed coursework or qualifying degree in a related field such as Education, Youth Development, Family Studies, Psychology, Nutrition, or Social Work
