Easy Event Planning LLC (EEP) offers entirely virtual, flexible writing internships. We provide an excellent experience for those majoring in creative writing, English, and even journalism. Creative writing interns will also need to learn about digital marketing, which is critical if you hope to be in business for yourself one day. You could also be a valuable asset to any organization for whom you work, as few people in the creative writing field have a well-rounded marketing background.

EEP is a technology company that is changing the way people plan events. We have the most extensive event vendor directory in the United States (more than 400k profiles) and game-changing technology that no one has (an instant chat feature, for example). We are now building amazing content. The site is poised to become very high-profile in the coming years.

Students can write blog articles about a range of fun topics related to event planning or our digital marketing niche topics:

· The ultimate camping checklist

· Safe COVID-friendly gatherings

These articles (unrelated to event planning) are written to generate an affiliate income, so they have a chance to learn how to monetize their blogs once the internship is finished.

All students can learn how to honestly write an amazing blog article and all of the components that come together to make it successful – strong content, an engaging voice, graphics, search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, content marketing, and more.

This is a highly competitive position. We’re looking for serious-minded students looking to learn, take the initiative, and build their writing portfolio. You can work from home and create your own schedule. Most communication will take place via Zoom and Skype video, audio, and text communication. This is currently an unpaid internship position, academic credit is offered.
