Grant Administrator
The City of Mason City is seeking a full-time Grant Administrator to develop, write and monitor grant proposals. This position will identify, seek out, apply for, administer, supervise and coordinate city wide administration of federal, state and/or local grant money in accordance with applicable standards, regulations and guidelines.
The qualified candidate will have thorough knowledge of general grant procedures and the ability to create written grant applications that fulfill grant requirements.
Minimum requirements: Associates degree or 60 college credits in business or related field and two years’ experience as a full-time grant writer; OR equivalent education and experience.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
Starting hourly rate is $21.29 plus excellent benefits package including IPERS. Employment is subject to background check.
