· Under appropriate guidance, take responsibility for the day to day completion of tasks
· Work in conjunction with senior staff and liaise with external sub-consultants where appropriate
· Undertake detailed technical and geospatial analysis
· Develop greenhouse gas models and/or hazard vulnerability analysis
· Conduct research on innovative technologies, policies and programs
· Participate in learning and development initiatives to build own capability and to ensure skills are disseminated in the team
· Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality reports, presentations and other client outputs
· Help to ensure that rigorous analysis and outputs are produced for each project

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Sustainability Management or a related subject
- Preferred Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Urban Planning or similar
- A working foundation in consulting, and/or engineering
- A strong personal interest in urban development and environmental policy, sustainable infrastructure and/or urban regeneration
- Experience of a mix of work across different fields and exposure to an international environment will be viewed favorably
- A high level of proficiency in verbal and written English, with demonstrable report writing and drafting capability
- Excellent research skills and the ability to synthesize and present information effectively
- A high degree of numeracy and experience of using, interpreting and representing complex data including socio-economic and environmental data
- Exposure to quantitative modelling
- Experience working in diverse teams, with tight deadlines and dealing with the competing needs of internal and external clients
- Strong drive to succeed, someone who continuously strives to take what they do to a higher level
- Confident, proactive character, with a willingness to take on challenging assignments on a collaborative and individual basis
- Working knowledge of a language in addition to English (such as French, Spanish, Arabic or Russian) would be advantageous
- Software and Technologies
o Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
o Knowledge of Adobe CS, specifically Illustrator and InDesign preferred
o GIS analysis using ArcGIS and/or QGIS
o Experience with AutoCAD Civils 3D and drainage/modelling software
