About the Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist Role: As a Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist you are responsible for implementing 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with children diagnosed with autism. ABA therapy programs are directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and are built around a child’s unique personality, interests, and capabilities to facilitate a strong learning foundation and promote happiness and success in any environment. We teach skills such as language and communication, social and play, cooperation, daily living skills, and more to contribute to life-long developmental and educational outcomes. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, from 8:15am – 4:45pm.

Is the Behavior Technician/ABA Therapist role a good fit for you? It is preferred for candidates to have a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with children, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be well organized, flexible, patient, and dependable. They will be highly motivated, naturally take initiative, be willing to learn, remain curious, and look to make a larger, positive impact. Candidates must be able to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification as required (provided by Bierman) and able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds) as needed.
