We are looking to add a psychometrist to our busy and growing practice. The primary job of the psychometrician is to assist the psychologist with various tasks related to assessment and therapy. This includes client scheduling, administration and scoring of assessment instruments, drafting clinical documents, coordinating care with other providers, supporting the testing authorization and billing process, as well as completion of other clerical tasks. The psychometrist may also be responsible for delegating support tasks to interns or other personnel.
Schedule: Candidates must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week, and may work a maximum of 40 hours a week. Most of these hours must be within the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, Monday-Friday.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in psychology or a closely related field required. Those who are in a psychology or counseling graduate program, or have already completed a Master’s degree are also encouraged to apply. Those graduating in May of 2021 will also be considered.
Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, have experience working in the human services field, be proficient with computers, and be detail-oriented.
Starting pay rate is $18/hr (for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree) and may increase with experience and qualifications.
