| Undergraduate researchers assist in the making of drawings, watercolor paintings, and oil paintings for upcoming art exhibitions. Potential tasks include drawing, painting, adobe creative suite, and photo editing software.
Student Qualifications: Some preferred qualifications from an artistic perspective would ideally include strong drawing skills from both observation and/or imagination, an interest in portraiture and figuration, a familiarity with basic art materials like graphite, oil paint, and watercolor. Some experience with the Adobe creative suite is a plus. In terms of personality traits, I am looking for someone reliable, accountable, and punctual with strong time management skills. I am also looking for a student who can follow instructions but is willing to ask questions when needed. Employment contingent on review of example student artworks. |
