McKinsey's First Year Leadership Academy

McKinsey’s First Year Leadership Academy (formerly Freshman Diversity Leadership Academy) was established in 2017 with the goal of meeting and supporting talented Black, African American, Hispanic, Latinx, and/or Native American college first years in their professional growth. We hope you’ll join us for this opportunity to learn and connect with your peers alongside a group of inspiring McKinsey professionals.

FYLA is an exclusive two-day workshop in which attendees explore careers in consulting, refine their problem-solving and leadership skills, and learn more about McKinsey, our work, culture, and our people.

Through interactive activities, you will get the opportunity to:

EXPLORE the world of consulting with one of the premier strategy consulting firms
DEVELOP the skills necessary to be a successful and impactful consultant
INTERACT with McKinsey consultants of all tenures to learn the tricks
ENJOY interactive activities and workshops with your peers to develop your professional toolkit

Join us on June 24th – June 26th, 2021. This year’s program will be hosted virtually via Zoom!

Who should apply?
This program is open to undergraduate students in the class of 2024 who identify as Black, African-American, Hispanic, Latinx, and/or Native American.
