Company/Organization description or mission The Nebraska Rural Radio Association was formed in 1948 with the goal of bringing information to farmers and ranchers in the state. The first station, KRVN AM, began broadcasting in 1951. The association now owns fourteen radio stations, one television station and a network that reaches five states. In 2018 the association opened a Lincoln news bureau on Nebraska Innovation Campus to assist with news gathering. The network is still owned and operated by a cooperative …
