This position helps to ensure safe, nurturing family contact by supervising parent-child interactions, and helps parents learn and improve parenting and life skills through one-on-one assistance.
This job does work that is important and challenging, but immensely rewarding. Plus, we offer excellent pay, benefits, strong support, potential pay increases every 6 months, and the ability to work independently.
Part-time staff would need to be able to commit to a minimum of 18 direct services hours per week, totaling about 20-25 hours per week. For full-time staff, 25 direct service hours or more, totaling 40 hours per week, with over-time available. Reimbursement for mileage and drive time also included. This position can also qualify as a paid internship.
Evenings and weekends required.
For this position you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field, or be a current student within two semesters of graduation, or have two years of experience. Or, Associate’s Degree in a Human Services related field and 1 year of social work experience;
The ability to transport children and clients to and from visits;
The ability to pass a background check including a valid driver’s license with less than 3 points assessed.
